What is the Matrix?
The Extracellular Matrix is the physical glue-like scaffolding which supports the cells of the body. A healthy bio-active matrix maintains all the cells including your joints, muscles, cartilage, ligaments, bones, breast, skin and hair by supplying nutrients, removing waste, and regulating electro-chemical communication between individual cells. Composed of an interlocking mesh of fbrous proteins and glycosaminoglycans, this dynamic extracellular space ultimately controls the enzyme-protein interactions which lead to infammation and pain
